I have a B.S. in Biology and after some jobs in the lab and a career in the organ transplant field, I went back to school to focus on nutrition and became a Registered Dietitian. I want to help delay or prevent the need for organ transplant and keep the entire body healthy. My interest in nutrition was spurred on after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I began to wonder if I could cure my issue with diet and lifestyle. While studying nutrition, I realized I was passionate about preventing disease with nutrition and a holistic approach. There is growing support from research and general acceptance that the gastrointestinal tract is far more important than just “absorbing” nutrients. It’s related to allergies, hormones and inflammation. A healthy gut means a healthy you! I want to help people heal, take charge of their health with nutrition and give hope for a better quality of life. I am also fluent in Spanish.  Para contactarme en español, por favor envíeme un correo electrónico directamente.
